“New York: a welcoming capital to the world.”
on Tuesday June 16 at 6:30 P.M. at
the Auditorium of Calyon, 1301 Avenue of the Americas, (19th floor), New York, 10019.
The event will start at 6:30 PM with the General Meeting of the Association for which a convocation has been mailed separately. This formal part includes brief presentations on the Association recent activities and future plans, the vote of pending resolutions and election of the new Board of Directors.
At 7:00 P.M., Mr Thierry Simon, CEO of Calyon Americas will introduce Ms Jackson, representing the mayor of the City of New York, His Honor Michael R. Bloomberg . Her presentation will outline the preeminent role of New York as a welcoming capital to the world for business, public affairs, finance, education and entertainment. She will be available to answer questions you may have about the organization and economy of the city; how to start or develop a business in New York; working and studying in the city and related issues.
The evening will conclude with a wine and chocolates reception with desserts graciously offered by Chocolate Michel Cluizel.
Registration is required for all participants. There is no charge for Members of the Association who have paid or renewed their 2009/10 membership, and a $20 participation fee for guests.
